Hi guys! I’d never been to Central America before I went to Nicaragua. It’s a beautiful country – they call it the land of lakes and volcanoes. Traveling there with Chelsea Kane, Drake Bell, Christopher Massey, Kyle Massey and Dean Cain was a great experience. We met up with a volunteer organization there, and we got the chance to visit some families in neighborhoods outside the capital city of Managua. The families were very poor, but they welcomed us into their homes without any shame. I met a really sweet girl named Stephanie. Her family didn’t have much food, and they didn’t have a stove to cook with…so Chris, Kyle, and I gave them both! Drake, Chelsea and Dean also visited homes, and the following day, we caught up with our kids at their school! We got to feed them, sing some songs, teach them some English and learn some Spanish, play games, and laugh – a lot. I’ll never forget it. We also explored a bit around Managua. I got to stand on the rim of an active volcano, zip-line over a really cool lake, and shop in the historic city of Granada. We all felt so good after helping out the kids, and we had learned so much about a country I knew very little about. It was amazing!
