Hey guys! I don’t think anyone will ever forget Hurricane Katrina and the Gulf Coast oil spill – especially all the people on the coast of Mississippi. That area got hit really hard. My friends Christopher and Kyle Massey, Drake Bell, and Ace Young decided we needed to do something to help. So…we threw a benefit concert there! It was so awesome. The boys all performed, and I got to introduce the Massey boys. The crowd was loving every minute of it – clapping and singing along. After meeting some of the local residents at the concert, we really wanted to learn more about the culture and people in Mississippi, so we took some time to do that too. Chris, Kyle, and Drake went on a fishing trip, Ace visited with a local sculpture artist, and I checked out a kayak race down the Mississippi River. Even after such devastation, the people along the Gulf Coast were so strong. I have so much respect for them, and I hope our efforts help them revive their beautiful beach community! My advice – when you visit Mississippi, hit the beach first, the awesome seafood restaurants second, and the local music scene third. Capital A! Awesome time!
